The very first "Dragons' Den" event

from Apps for Good

Since early September, seven young people from South London and twenty girls from the Central Foundation Girls School in East London have been working in teams to research and reflect on issues that affect their lives and their communities, and creating mobile apps to solve them.

Anticipate a fun and stimulating evening in the style of the BBC’s “Dragons’ Den”.

Our students from CGFS will pitch their initial ideas, and our students in South London will present their final ideas to a Dragons' Den Panel of experts who will decide on the future and development of their idea.

Our Dragons are:

James Murray Wells, Founder and Executive Chairman, Glasses Direct

Scott Seaborn, Head of Mobile Tecnologies, Ogilvy Group

Rahul Chakkara, Director of Online for TalkTalk Group

Jo Twist, Commissioning Editor for Education, Channel 4

Antony Marcano, Founder, Riverglide Software & Business Consultancy

The event will be followed by some refreshments and the opportunity to network.

Space is limited so please register early to secure your attendance.

See you on November 4!
